Volunteer Opportunities

There are lots of upcoming volunteer opportunities in the next two months.  Have a few hours to spare?  Sign up for one of the events below!  And check back often, new opportunities and links will be posted as soon as they are available.

 

Concerto: 6 of the winners of the Annual Instrumental Music Concerto Competition : Max Braun, Georgia Chau, Phillis Duong, Loren Lee, Kana Luzmoor & Lucy Nelligan will perform their selected solo pieces. Featuring the Asawa SOTA Chamber Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Full Orchestra.   Friday, February 9 at 7:30pm at the Calvary Presbyterian Church. Visual Art Show:  Junior Art Exhibition.  Opening Night is Friday, February 9 from 5:30-7:30pm.  Artwork will be on display through February 20.  Interested in volunteering or contributing something for the opening night?  Contact Claudia Ward, Visual Department Liaison at visualconnect@sfsota.org

 

Snippets: The Theatre Department kicks off the 25th Annual Asawa SOTA New Play Festival with Snippets, an evening of original plays written and performed by members of the Intermediate One Ensemble.  Friday, February 9 & Saturday, February 10.  For parent volunteer opportunities, please contact Karla Bobadilla, Theater Department Liaison at theatreconnect@sfsota.org

 

Teacher Appreciation:  This year, the Asawa SOTA PTSA will be coordinating monthly Staff Appreciation activities. On Friday, February 23,  we are serving the teachers and staff breakfast before their monthly meeting.   Click HERE to show some appreciation for our teachers & staff.
